Pro Artibus’ creative art camps for primary school children take place in the first three weeks of June every year. The camps are held in various places around Swedish-speaking Finland and in areas where there are small groupings of Swedish speakers. The summer camp is a place for artistic experiment and to be together in a safe setting.
During summer camps we work creatively around selected themes. Participants get a chance to make artistic experiments, learn new things, and to be surprised by art. Art is interwoven with exercise and physical activities, outdoors wherever possible, which often form part of the artistic creative process.
The main language in our summer camps is Swedish, but we also speak English.
